First AHL All-Star appearance; In his first season as an AHL head coach, former NHL'er Van Ryn has Tucson off to a 17-10-3 start nearing the halfway mark of the Roadrunners' 2017-18 campaign.

Goaltenders

Antoine Bibeau, San JoseStats: 18 GP, 9-7-0, 2.28 GAA, .918 save percentage, two shutouts

First AHL All-Star appearance; Bibeau has allowed three goals or less in all but one of his 18 appearances this season with the Barracuda.

Cal Petersen, OntarioStats: 16 GP, 8-7-0, 2.46 GAA, .917 save percentage, two shutouts

First AHL All-Star appearance; rookie goaltender out of the University lost his first three career AHL starts with the Reign before posting a shutout to earn his first career win and following it up with three more wins in a row, including a second shut out to conclude a four-game win streak in early November.

Forwards

Rocco Grimaldi, San AntonioStats: 23 GP, 9 goals, 13 assists, 22 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; In his fourth season of pro hockey, his second in the Colorado Avalanche's organization, Grimaldi has spent parts of all four seasons playing in the NHL throughout his career - including six games with the Avs already this season.

Andrew Mangiapane, StocktonStats: 29 GP, 14 goals, 19 assists, 33 points points

First AHL All-Star appearance; In his second year at the pro level, Mangiapane began the season in AHL Stockton with a ten-game points scoring steak which saw him record six goals and ten assists. Recently made his NHL debut with the Calgary Flames back on December 31st at home against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Curtis McKenzie, TexasStats: 31 GP, 18 goals, 13 assists, 31 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; In his fourth full year at the pro-level, McKenzie has spent most of the 2017-18 season in the AHL with the Texas Stars averaging a point per game and leading the team in both goals (18) and points (31) after spending 53 games in the NHL with the Dallas Stars last season.

Nick Merkley, TucsonStats: 27 GP, 17 goals, 17 assists, 34 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; Merkley ranks second in rookie scoring in the AHL, and made his NHL debut earlier this season with Arizona back on December 19th.

Ty Rattie, BakersfieldStats: 33 GP, 12 goals, 11 assists, 23 points

Second AHL All-Star appearance; Leads the Condors in goals (12) and points (23) in his fifth season of professional hockey.

Dylan Strome, TucsonStats: 22 GP, 13 goals, 20 assists, 33 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; Another high-scoring rookie forward in Tucson, Strome leads the AHL in scoring rate with a 1.50 points per game average, and had a seven game span prior to his call up to Arizona in late November where he tallied 16 points (seven goals, nine assists)

Brent Sutter, OntarioStats: 33 GP, 7 goals, 7 assists, 14 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; The playing captain for the Western Conference All-Stars in Sunday's Skills Competition, Sutter is in his 11th season of pro hockey andn appeared in his 700th career AHL game earlier this season.

Defensemen:

Rasmus Andersson, StocktonStats: 28 GP, 4 goals, 17 assists, 21 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; Nearing the midway mark of his 2nd pro year in the Calgary Flames organization, Andersson has nearly matched his offensive production from his rookie season in Stockton. Already having made his NHL debut last spring, Andersson is looking to take the next step toward an extended look at the NHL level. He managed one game in early November for Calgary this season.

Jordan Schmaltz, San AntonioStats: 28 GP, 5 goals, 16 assists, 21 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; In his third year at the pro level - all with the St. Louis Blues organization - Schmaltz finds himself on a new AHL team in San Antonio in 2017-18 due to the NHL's expansion team in Las Vegas becoming the NHL affiliate for the Chicago Wolves.

Andy Welinski, San DiegoStats: 26 GP, 6 goals, 16 assists, 22 points

First AHL All-Star appearance; In his second full season of pro hockey, Welinski made his NHL debut earlier this season with the Anaheim Ducks assisting on the game-winning goal in his debut as Anaheim defeated Carolina 3-2.
