As July 1st and the beginning of free agency looms large, Monday's deadline for teams to submit qualifying offers to retain rights to pending restricted free agents (RFA) serves as important day for prospective American Hockey League (AHL) rosters this fall.

While most NHL teams have players on its NHL roster on expiring contracts, entry-level contracts and some two-way deals for players in the organization's AHL roster often times end with a decision to make upon its expiry.

As you can see below, there are RFAs on all 32 AHL rosters heading into Monday's deadline to submit qualifying offers.

Any RFA not tendered a qualifying offer today will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st and will be added to Inside AHL Hockey's 2025 AHL Free Agent Tracker (coming soon!).

Restricted free agents (RFAs) on AHL rosters

Teams can still submit qualifying offers on RFAs who have signed overseas for 2025-26 to retain their North American rights.
