Led the Oilers' AHL affiliate in scoring this past season. His 24 goals ranked 13th best in the entire league this past season. Also important to note that while Currie's 318 pro games experience allow him to slide under the AHL's veteran rule stating no more than five skaters on a team's playing roster can have entered the season with more than 320 games of pro experience. However, a team can only field six skaters with more than 260 games so Currie will now fall under that "veteran-exception" spot.
