ALLENTOWN - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms (7-2-1) kick off a three-game weekend at home against their bitter rivals, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (6-2-0), with first place in the Atlantic Division on the line.

Tonight marks the third of 12 meetings between the Phantoms and Penguins this season. The season series is even at one game apiece. Last time out, the Phantoms exacted revenge in a 3-2 win after the Penguins opened the season series with a 5-0 win over Lehigh Valley. Lehigh Valley came up short in the season series last year, going 5-6-1 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2016-17.

Roster Notes

Alex Lyon is expected back in net for Lehigh Valley Friday night. Dustin Tokarski will serve as his backup.

T.J. Brennan is expected to return to the lineup tonight, having not played since the incident with Tom Sestito the last time these two teams played on October 14th.

Even with Brennan's return, the defense is thin for Lehigh Valley with Mark Alt and Will O'Neill called up to Philadelphia and Sam Morin injured.
