Starting a new chapter in the coverage of hockey's top prospects in the American Hockey League (AHL), Inside AHL Hockey launched six months ago on this date.

And the good news is, we're just getting started.

Covering the Lehigh Valley Phantoms since Day 1, our staff has both begun and continued to provide the very best when it comes to daily coverage of breaking news, information and extended features and off-the-beaten path stories in addition to exclusive content.

Beginning with the 2017-18 season, Inside AHL Hockey has added additional coverage from other teams/divisions across the AHL along with several part-time contributors across North America.

Operating under a partial paywall does come with its criticism, but we are confident that we are able to offer something unparalleled in terms of both daily coverage of teams - like the Phantoms - while also adding depth to our coverage with regular updates on teams in the Eastern Conference supplemented with even more features from players etc. around the league.
