PPL Center To Host Pair of Flyers/Rangers Rookie Games To Start 2022-23 Season

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms announced that the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers will face off in a pair of Rookie Games to kick off the 2022-23 season, and the two games will take place at the Phantoms' home rink in downtown Allentown, Pa.

The PPL Center will host the Flyers/Rangers Rookie Games on Friday, September 16th at 7:15 p.m. ET and Saturday, September 17th at 5:15 p.m. ET.

"We are very pleased to host this two-game Rookie Series vs. the New York Rangers at PPL Center,” Flyers President and General Manager Chuck Fletcher said in the Phantoms' press release Friday afternoon. “Our rivalry with the Rangers is one of the best in the NHL and this gives us and the fans in the Lehigh Valley a great opportunity to see our prospects go head-to-head.”

Ticket information for those games will be available at a later date, per the Phantoms' press release revealed Friday afternoon.
